A low coffee table made from two short offcut slabs of English walnut book-matched diagonally to create an unusual grain pattern. The combination of the swirling grain, flamed figure, sapwood ripple and raw edge features provides plenty to draw the eye.

Contrasting bog oak keys were used to stabilise an emerging split at one end of the slab, and to provide some crisp visual detailing
