Solid sycamore wood, with its natural creamy colouring and fine grain gives a neutral feel to this smooth, bone-like version. Finished in subtle white oils to retain as much of the wood’s natural paleness as possible this finish is perhaps the most visually versatile

Full support

The back support of the Chooob II chair is here wrapped around to form armrests. The flat circular arm ends contrast with the curves throughout the rest of the piece, punctuating the negative space of this striking silhouette

A nod to heritage

The spindles used to support the back and arm rest of the Chooob chair give a nod to centuries-old chair making techniques, whilst their straight and parallel arrangement marks the piece out as distinctly modern rather than traditional in form
